Nazar set the final score in the win over Minaj, scoring his eighth goal of the season
Winger Dynamo Nazar Voloshin commented on his team’s victory over Let’s go (3:1) in the rescheduled match of the 16th round Ukrainian Premier Leagueas well as his own goal scored at the end of the meeting.
“It’s good that we managed to win, three important points for us. However, it was not easy; the opponent played very well. Every game is important for us, we need to win each one, regardless of the opponent.”
“We knew that we were able to put the squeeze on the opponent. Such moments, sometimes unexpected, do happen, but we believed in our strength. In principle, we always have the maximum mood, so the minimum advantage did not affect it.”
“Dubinchak crossed very well, and I closed the far post. I haven’t scored for a long time, so I’m very happy.”
Let us remind you that Dynamo confidently won the first half thanks to an early goal by Vitaly Buyalsky and an own goal by Dmitry Nemchaninov. However, Minaj scored one goal immediately after the break and revived the intrigue, which lasted until the end – only in the 86th minute Voloshin scored the third goal from a pass from Vladislav Dubinchak.
In Dynamo’s previous match against Alexandria (1:0), Voloshin was sent off the field. As head coach Alexander Shovkovsky explained, the club received permission for the winger to play against Minaya, since this was the completion of the match, which began in December. At the same time, Nazar will miss the next calendar match of the White-Blues against Polesie due to disqualification.
20-year-old Voloshin is having a strong season for the Kiev club. He has eight goals and five assists in 25 matches in all competitions. With his play, the young winger attracted the attention of foreign clubs – for example, information recently appeared about the interest of Strasbourg, the middle peasant of the French Ligue 1, in him. Nazar’s agent Nikita Shvets confirmed that there is mutual interest, but the specifics will be in the summer.
Dynamo scored 51 points and ranks second in the UPL standings. In the next round of the Ukrainian Championship, Shovkovsky’s team will host Polesie on April 21.
