Athletistic / Football. Abaskal was fired on April 14, but conversations about him don’t stop for a minute. This time Nikita Chernov decided to tell how the Spaniard’s farewell to the team took place.
Nikita noted that the media spoke of a kind of “cold” breakup. Actually, that’s not true.
“I can’t say that Abascal coldly said goodbye to Spartak, as they wrote, Guillermo was emotional when he said goodbye to the team. Still, he left a part of himself- even here Spartak is the first serious team for him where there is pressure, I think he did quite well,” Chernov said.
Abascal was fired after the defeat against Sochi in the last round of the RPL. His assistant, Vladimir Slishkovich, was appointed on an interim basis.
