Short-handed Roma held on to victory over Milan and advanced to the Europa League semi-finals

Wolves played with ten men from the middle of the first half

Roma beat on home field Milan in the return match 1/4 finals of the Europa League – 2:1.

Already in the 12th minute of the meeting, Gianluca Mancini brought Wolves ahead, successfully playing on the finish. Let us note that the defender scored a goal in the first quarter-final match with the Rossoneri.

Midway through the first half, Paulo Dybala doubled Roma’s lead with a spectacular strike. In the 31st minute, the capital team remained in the minority: Zeki Celik received a straight red card.

Towards the end of the meeting, Milan reduced the gap in the score through the efforts of Matteo Gabbia, but the Rossoneri did not have enough to do more.

Roma reached the semi-finals of the Europa League, where they will play Bayer Leverkusen. The fights are scheduled for May 2 and 9.
