“Atalanta” lost “Liverpool” during the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals.
The Italian team lost at home on Thursday with a score of 0:1. The only goal was scored by Reds striker Mohamed Salah, who scored a penalty in the 7th minute.
Atalanta’s Russian midfielder Alexei Miranchuk entered the starting lineup and was replaced in the 79th minute.
Atalanta won the first meeting with a score of 3:0 and, in total, reached the semi-finals, where their opponent will be the winner of the Benfica-Marseille pair.
