The Dnepr coach explains the modest results by failures in the transfer market
Head coach Dnepra-1 Yuri Maximov commented on the draw result in the away match against Veresa (1:1) in the 25th round UPL.
“We were determined to win. In general, we go out to every match to win.”
“During the winter break, a lot of guys left us – six football players, but we didn’t take anyone except Ocheretko, and then at the very last moment. We had a transfer ban, it was all difficult and we understood that with 13 players we would not be able to compete in the championship. So everything was natural, this is my opinion. Not even 20 football players play football.”
“In my opinion, a draw today is a logical result.”
Let us remind you that Maksimov’s team tied for the third time in a row in the championship. The opponents exchanged goals in the first half of the first half; Vladimir Adamyuk scored for SC Dnepr-1.
Dnepr-1 is in fourth place in the UPL, six points behind Krivbass. In the next round on April 27, Maximov’s team will play against Dynamo.
