Daria Snigur and Anastasia Soboleva significantly improved their positions over the week
Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) published an updated ranking of the best tennis players in the world.
The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina retained 18th position. Marta Kostyuk, who became the vice-champion of the tournament in Stuttgart and is now in 21st place, has moved closer to the top 20.
The triumphant event in Calvi, Daria Snigur, and Anastasia Soboleva, who immediately rose by 29 positions, significantly improved their positions. Angelina Kalinina and Lesya Tsurenko maintained their 32nd and 41st places in the world rankings.
There was only one change in the top 10 – Marketa Vondrousova overtook Zheng Qingwen. The first racket of the world remains the representative of Poland Iga Szwiatek.
