Shoulder injury keeps defenseman out Artur Colacspeaking for the American Sioux Falls Stampedetake part in matches Ukrainian national hockey team on World Championship 2024 V Division IB.

It’s reportedly a lingering injury that has plagued Colac since 2021, when he was a Falcon.

In the regular season USHL-2023/24 Colac played 54 of 62 matches for Sioux Falls, scored four goals and gave 11 assists. In the playoffs, his team was eliminated by the Tri-City Storm, and at this stage the 20-year-old Ukrainian scored three more assists.

Let us remind you that Colac was previously included in the application of 30 hockey players selected by the coaching staff led by Dmitry Khristic to prepare for the 2024 World Cup in Division IB.

This week the blue-yellows will begin their performances at the World Championships. The debut match for our team will be against Estonia on April 27. Next, Khristich’s team will play against the Netherlands (April 28), China (April 30), Spain (May 1) and Lithuania (May 3). The winner of the tournament will advance to Division IA, the team that finishes last will drop to Division IIA.
