“I have long made the decision that I will live in Ukraine, I will defend it and die here, no matter what the cost. Like all Ukrainians, I hide in basements, go there at night.
I am a Belarusian, but I have a lot in common with Ukraine. My own aunt, uncle and sister were buried in Lvov. My husband is Ukrainian, and his father is also Ukrainian, he is from Karlovka, near Poltava. Now his uncle and cousin are fighting, ”Kuchuk said.
