Independiente coach will rest and return to training
Former forward of the Argentine national team, and now the coach of the Argentinean Independiente Carlos Tevez discharged from hospital in Buenos Aires.
The coach underwent the necessary examination. Tevez will rest at home and return to directing training at Independiente.
Earlier it was reported that the Argentine complained of chest pain and sought medical help. The coach was urgently taken to a clinic in the San Isidro area, where he spent the night.
The club issued an official statement saying that the coach’s preliminary performance was considered “satisfactory.” Note that last fall Tevez lost consciousness while at home. The Argentine fell and cut his eyebrow and required several stitches.
Tevez is a former Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus forward. As part of the Red Devils in 2008, the Argentine won the Champions Cup.
During his career, Carlos played 76 matches for the Argentina national team, in which he scored 13 goals and provided 13 assists.
Since August last year, the coach has been heading Independiente, and in December the Argentine extended his contract with the club until the end of 2026. Now Carlos’ team is in sixth place in the Argentine Primera standings.
