The official confirmed that Blaugrana’s coach will remain at the club
Vice President Barcelona’s Rafael Just confirmed that the head coach Javi will remain at the club next season.
“Javi will stay, he is very happy. He trusts our project. Together we can do great things.”
“We need to win titles, we all know that. We trust Xavi for this, he is a real Barça guy. He will be part of the new Barcelona at the new Camp Nou.
“We have never negotiated with any other coach. And Deco trusts Javi, this is guaranteed,” the functionary noted.
It was previously reported that Xavi had decided to remain in his position in the new season. The coach changed his mind after a personal meeting with Blaugrana president Joan Laporta.
Barcelona is in second place in La Liga with 70 points. In the next round, Xavi’s team will host Valencia on April 29.
