Liverpool have stepped up negotiations with Feyenoord regarding compensation for head coach Slot

The Reds have no problems with the coach’s representatives regarding his transfer

Liverpool intensified negotiations with Feyenoord regarding the transition of the head coach Arne Slota.

The Reds intend to agree on compensation for the coach in the near future. Liverpool’s main efforts are focused on reaching an agreement with the clubs. The Reds reportedly have no problems with the coach’s representatives regarding his move.

It was previously reported that Liverpool management approved Slot’s candidacy. Arne himself is also interested in the Merseyside club’s project. Let us note that Chelsea applied for the coaching of Ukrainian winger Mikhail Mudryk.

Current Reds head coach Jurgen Klopp will leave the team in the summer. Previously, Xabi Alonso dropped out of the list of potential replacements for Klopp. The list of the German’s replacements included the names of former Shakhtar coach (now Lille coach) Paulo Fonseca and Ruben Amorim from Sporting.

Liverpool is in second place in the Premier League with 74 points. The Reds lost the derby to Everton (0:2) in their last match. Klopp’s team will next play West Ham on April 27.
