The Ukrainian can change the club environment
Career of the Ukrainian midfielder Mikhail Mudrik V Chelsea is becoming increasingly foggy.
The Blues’ management is not very impressed with the Ukrainian’s work and is considering options to rent the winger. The main candidates for Mikhail are called Arsenal Ukrainian Alexander Zinchenko and Turin Juventus.
Let us remember that Mudrik moved to Chelsea in January 2023 and signed a contract for eight and a half years. Chelsea and Shakhtar agreed on the transfer of Mudryk for 100 million euros.
The Ukrainian had a hard time adapting to a new club and a new country. He managed to score his first goal for the Blues only in October last year, in the ninth month of his stay in the Chelsea camp. This season, 23-year-old Mudrik has played in 36 matches for the Blues in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing three assists. However, he does not have a stable place in the main lineup.
In winter, it was reported that the Blues management was considering the option of renting the Ukrainian. Head coach Mauricio Pochettino supported Mikhail several times during the season. However, according to some information, Pochettino is not impressed with Mudryk’s play, and the club is looking for new players to fill his position.
Chelsea is in ninth place in the Premier League, Arsenal is the leader of the tournament race in England. Juventus is in third position in Serie A.
