The French forward signed an agreement until the summer of 2029
Eintracht activated the striker’s contract buyout clause South Ekitike. The 21-year-old forward signed an agreement until the summer of 2029.
The French striker joined the German club from PSG in February on loan until the end of the season. During this time, Ekitike made 12 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
Earlier, Eintracht refused the opportunity to buy out the contract of another loaned player, midfielder Donny van de Beek. Frankfurt decided not to activate the release clause of 11 million euros; the midfielder will return to Manchester United in the summer.
Eintracht are in sixth place in the Bundesliga. In the next match, Frankfurt will play away against Bayern on April 27.
