Head of the Internal Investigation Service of the Ukrainian Football Association Andrey Davidenko headed Ethics and Fair Play Committee.
The UAF Executive Committee voted to terminate the powers of the entire previous composition of the Committee, together with its chairman Francesco Baranca. Davidenko will have to prepare and submit to the UAF president proposals on the quantitative and personal composition, powers, responsibilities and functions of the committee.
Previously, the UAF decided to prohibit third party incentives for clubs. The Ethics Committee must provide the wording of the new rules before the start of the Ukrainian Championships 2024/25.
Let us remind you that in early April the UAF created the Internal Investigation Service for unlawful behavior of participants in football competitions, headed by Davidenko. The 38-year-old specialist previously worked for many years in law enforcement agencies and collaborated with the UAF on issues of combating influence on the results of football matches.
Earlier, Francesco Baranca confirmed that he was leaving the post of head of the UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee. The Italian was actively involved in investigating matches in Ukrainian football with a fixed result.
