Athletistic/Football. The situation with the new contract of Real Madrid goalkeeper Andrei Lunin takes on new nuances.
Lunin received an offer from his current club, Real Madrid, to extend his contract, which expires in the summer of 2025. Andrey has 28 appearances this season (including 12 without conceding a goal) and 25 goals conceded.
The Ukrainian himself understands that he will be on the bench after Courtois returns. Lunin therefore asked for a salary increase at the Belgian level, for which Real was not ready.
The situation is approaching a stalemate, since Real also have no intention of releasing their player as a free agent after one season. The Madrid club will be ready to sell Andrey for 40 million euros.
