The third victory of Transcarpathians this season
On Saturday, April 27, Minaj beat Chernomorets in the match of the 26th round of the Ukrainian Championship – 2:0. This victory allowed Transcarpathian the club leaving last place in the table. For Chernomorets, the defeat was the third in a row.
Minaj opened the scoring already in the sixth minute of the match. Korablin turned out to be the quickest in the Chernomorets penalty area.
Zeljko Ljubenovic’s team scored the second goal in the middle of the second half. Minaj succeeded in a quick counterattack, as a result of which Remenyak made a great play in the penalty area after a flank cross.
The victory was Minaya’s third in the spring part of the season. After this match, the Transcarpathian team left last place in the standings for at least a day: Minai and Metalist 1925 have 19 points each, but Lyubenovich’s team is higher in additional indicators. Chernomorets remained in ninth place with 29 points.
In the next round, Minaj will play away against Veres on May 6. Chernomorets will play the rescheduled match of the 12th round with Shakhtar on May 1 in Kyiv.
