Julia lost to Croatian Jana Fett in three sets
Ukrainian tennis player Yulia Starodubtseva lost to Croatian Jana Fett in the semi-finals of the tournament ITF W100 V Oeiras (Portugal).
The Ukrainian confidently won the first set (6:2), but in each of the subsequent games she lost with the same score 3:6, allowing her opponent to win a strong-willed victory.
Let us remind you that Starodubtseva was seeded number one at the tournament in Oeiras. In the first round, Yulia confidently beat the “neutral” tennis player Ekaterina Makarova, after which she defeated Francisco Jorge from Portugal and had no problems with the German Ella Seidel.
In the current WTA rankings, Starodubtseva occupies 142nd position – this is the seventh position among Ukrainian tennis players.
