All five stadiums set to introduce RPL third round fan card – Ministry of Sports

Stadiums in Sochi, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Samara and Nizhny Novgorod are fully prepared for the introduction of the fan card system and have completed two rounds of exercises, said Russia’s First Deputy Minister of Sports, Azat Kadyrov.

The service for issuing a fan card has been launched in Russia since July 4. Since the service launched on July 22, 50,000 people have received the document. On June 21, the RPL press service reported that from the start of the new season, a fan card will be required to attend matches at the Yekaterinburg Arena, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov Arena , at the Solidarity Samara Arena and Fisht Stadiums, where they play. “Urals” , “BET NN” , “Rostov” , “Wings of the Soviets” and “Sochi” respectively. The remaining stadiums will join the project in the second part of the season.

– As you know, from the 3rd round of the RPL, a football assistance system with a fan card is launched in five stadiums. This is a new service designed for the convenience of our fans and football fans. This is a convenient service that allows you to get a card once and buy tickets easily: no need to run to the counter, call each other, transfer tickets. It will be possible to buy a ticket remotely, come to the stadium and enjoy football safely.

“What did we do in Sochi to make everything quick?”

– A total of five stadiums have been equipped – in addition to Sochi, these are the arenas for the 2018 World Cup in Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Samara and Yekaterinburg. We have already performed the second set of exercises today. They show that the system is stable. A convenient multifunctional center has been set up in Sochi, where you can get confirmation of your FAN ID. It works, 25 jobs, excellent, trained staff. Literally in 1-2 minutes they make a confirmation, after which you can watch the matches.

Are all the stadiums ready?

– We just test at the fifth stage as part of the second set of exercises. All systems confirm operability and availability. And not only the system itself, but also the staff: that is to say the people who are involved in the stadiums and in the MFC. We confirm that we are ready to receive fans,” Kadyrov told reporters.
