Conor McGregor becomes co-owner of the BKFC fist fighting league

As planned, the partnership will expand the scope of BKFC’s activities and will contribute to its promotion

Former UFC champion in two weight classes Conor McGregor officially became a co-owner Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships (BKFC) – an American promotion company engaged in organizing fist fights.

The Irishman bought a stake in the famous fist fighting league. Its majority owner remains streaming company Triller. McGregor Sports and Entertainment became a co-owner.

The partnership will reportedly expand BKFC’s reach through McGregor’s promotional opportunities and will likely help BKFC become a destination for fighters to try their hand at bare-knuckle competition.

Let us remember that in April it was officially announced that the 35-year-old ex-champion would return to the Octagon after an almost three-year break. McGregor’s fight with former Bellator champion Michael Chandler will take place on June 29 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena as part of the UFC 303 event. Conor and Michael will fight in the welterweight category (up to 170 pounds or 77 kilograms).

McGregor fought his last fight in the Octagon in July 2021, losing to Dustin Poirier. Earlier, the Irishman challenged the legendary Filipino boxer, former world champion in eight weight categories, Manny Pacquiao.

Chandler also lost to Poirier in his last fight. The fight took place in November 2022.
