Athletistic/Football. Barcelona head coach Xavi has responded to a question about his decision to leave the Blue Garnet team after the end of the current season.

“My decision to stay was simple. At first I felt responsible and thought it would be better to withdraw. But over time, I became confident in everything. I see support from the club, the president, the sporting director and the players. It was fundamental for me,” Xavi told Mundo Deportivo.

In January, the coach announced his intention to leave the post of head coach of Barcelona. However, this month the club management managed to convince the Spanish specialist. He recently announced that he would stay with the Catalan team. Xavi’s current deal with Barcelona runs until June 2025.

Xavi has managed Barcelona since 2021.
