USA And Mexico withdrew the application for 2027 Women’s World Cup. Instead, countries will focus on being able to host the tournament in 2031.

The federations hope that hosting the 2026 men’s World Cup will help better organize the women’s competition. It is planned that the application will have investments for the women’s tournament equal to those that will be invested in the men’s World Cup,

There are now two bids to host the 2027 Women’s World Cup. Brazil plans to host the tournament, and Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands also want to host it jointly. The decision will be made at the FIFA Congress, which will take place on May 17.

The previous Women’s World Cup was held in 2023 in Australia. The Spanish team won the championship title, beating England in the final.
