Yarmolenko scored his 106th goal in the Ukrainian championships
Dynamo beat on home field Veres in the rescheduled 5th round match Ukrainian Premier League – 3:0.
Alexander Shovkovsky’s team took the lead before the break. Andrei Yarmolenko sent the ball into the goal, taking advantage of a mistake by visiting goalkeeper Vadim Yushchyshyn.
Note that Yarmolenko scored his 106th goal in the Ukrainian championship and took fourth place in the list of top scorers in the history of the elite division.
Towards the end of the meeting, Dynamo increased the advantage through the efforts of Matvey Ponomarenko, who came on as a substitute. This is the 18-year-old forward’s debut goal for the Kyiv team. Four minutes later, Vladimir Shepelev made the score devastating. Nazar Voloshin has two assists.
Dynamo is in second place in the UPL, losing four points to Shakhtar four rounds before the end of the championship. The miners defeated Chernomorets today – 4:1.
Veres is in the play-off zone for a place in the UPL, one point ahead of Minaj and Metalist 1925.
In the next match, Dynamo will host Kolos on May 5. Veres will meet Minaj on May 6.
