“The judge who decides on extradition will not be involved in these criminal cases, since Promes has appealed his conviction. In Quincy’s case, the court will decide whether there are grounds to refuse extradition from the Countries- For example, they could say that the Dutch did not send all the necessary documents or that they were not presented correctly. Another reason for refusal could be a political crime or a decision on the sentence. But if the UAE court decides on extradition, I hope Promes will be brought to the Netherlands already a year ago.
