Loss: I don’t think about the fight, I wake up and cry

On May 5, the Ukrainian will fight with Michel Pereira

Ukrainian fighter Igor Lost (20-5) commented on his upcoming fight with the Brazilian Michel Pereira (30-11).

“I don’t think about the fight. I think about what happened in my country because, as I said, many people, many of my friends died. I wake up and cry.”

“Now everything has changed for me. I’m much stronger inside. The most important thing for all fighters is to be strong inside.”

The fight will take place as part of the show UFC 301 in Rio de Janeiro on May 5. Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian would replace the Uzbek fighter Mahmud Muradov in the fight, who initially planned to fight Pereira.

The UFC initially planned that Lost would hold his next fight against Russian Sharabutdin Magomedov on June 22 as part of a show in Saudi Arabia. The Ukrainian said that he did not choose his opponent and always accepted the opponents assigned to him in the UFC.

Loser fought his last fight at UFC Fight Night 236 in Las Vegas in February. The Ukrainian defeated Pole Robert Bryczek by unanimous decision.
