The Blues promise to invest heavily in transfers for the Italian
Chelsea is negotiating with Antonio Conte about returning to the post of head coach.
Club chairman Todd Boeli contacted the Italian. The Blues promise to create a “major investment project” for the new coach, with whom the team will fight for trophies.
Conte coached Chelsea from 2016 to 2018. Together with the Blues, the Italian became champion in 2017 and won the 2018 FA Cup. After his dismissal, Antonio headed Inter and Tottenham, and has been unemployed since March 2023.
It was previously reported that Conte is Napoli’s priority option for next season. At the end of January, rumors linked Conte’s future with Milan. It was also reported that the coach hopes to lead Bayern in the new season.
Chelsea are ninth in the English Championship with 48 points. The Blues next face Tottenham on May 2. The match starts at 21:30.
