Sabrina Wittmann became interim head coach Ingolstadt. The mentor became the first woman to head a men’s professional club in Germany.

Wittmann previously worked with the Ingolstadt U-19 team. Sabrina replaced Michael Kellner as head coach of the first team until the end of the season. It is not yet known whether she will remain at the helm of the team next season.

Let us remember that in November 2023, Marie-Louise Eta became an assistant to the acting head coach of Union. The specialist went down in history as the first female coach in the men’s Bundesliga in particular and the top championship in general.

Ingolstadt is in 11th place in the German Third League. In the next match, Wittmann’s team will play against Mannheim on May 5.
