UEFA has identified two candidates: the author of the hat-trick against Aston Villa (4:2) Ayouba El Kaabi from Olympiacos and representative of Fiorentina Mbalu Nzolawho scored the winning goal in the match with Brugge (3:2).
Candidates for the best goal of the game day were also named. Ricardo Sottil (Fiorentina), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa), Thiago (Club Brugge) and the aforementioned El-Kaabi will compete for victory in the nomination.
Aston Villa lost to Olympiacos at home – 2:4. Fiorentina won at home in stoppage time over Brugge – 3:2.
The return matches of the 1/2 finals of the Conference League are scheduled for May 9. The final of the tournament will take place on May 29 in Athens.
