According to The Athletic, Manchester United are currently considering starting the next season with Ten Hag at the helm of the team. Manchester United’s new owners believe the Dutchman has yet to meet the conditions that would contribute to his success at Albion. In addition, they take into account the financial aspect: the dismissal of Ten Hag and the search for a new coach will require additional investments.

Erik ten Hag took charge of Manchester United on July 1, 2022, after joining the English club from Ajax Amsterdam. Currently, under the leadership of the 53-year-old Dutchman, Manchester United have played 109 matches in all tournaments, won 65 times, drawn 15 times and lost 29 matches.

Manchester United are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table. In 34 matches, the Mancuniens have scored 54 points, 13 points outside the Champions League qualifying zone.
