Athletistic/Football. Oscar Ribot, agent of Real Madrid youth team coach and former Spanish national team player Alvaro Arbeloa, has spoken about who could succeed Carlo Ancelotti as first team coach at the Royal Club.
“Alvaro wants to become the coach of Real Madrid. He is actively working on it. I have no doubt that Arbeloa will become Ancelotti’s successor and one day take the place of coach on the bench of the Santiago Bernabeu”, quotes Relevo .
Carlo Ancelotti’s contract with Real Madrid runs until June 30, 2026. The deal with the Italian was extended to the fall of 2023. Previously, media reports claimed that Bayer Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso could become Ancelotti’s successor.
Carlo Ancelotti will take charge of Real Madrid for the second time in July 2021. With him, Los Blancos won the Champions League (2021/2022 season) and became champions of Spain during the same campaign.
