Each team’s entry can contain from 23 to 26 players
UEFA officially confirmed the expansion of national team applications from 23 to 26 players on European Championship 2024.
It is stipulated that this condition is not mandatory. The minimum quota for each team is a list of 23 players. The deadline for national teams to submit applications for the continental championship is June 7, 2024, one week before the start of the tournament.
Let us remind you that UEFA previously increased the number of players in applications to 26 for Euro 2020 due to the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. FIFA has also expanded the applications of national teams for the 2022 World Cup.
The Ukrainian national team will play in the group stage of the 2024 European Championship in Quartet E with Belgium, Slovakia and Romania. Sergei Rebrov’s team will play the first match against Romania on June 17. Ticket sales for the blue-yellow matches at Euro 2024 are also open.
Euro 2024 will take place in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The matches of the European Championship will be held in arenas in Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart.
