Lunin remained in Real’s reserve for the match with Cadiz, Courtois will play in the starting lineup

Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrey Lunin remained in stock Real Madrid for the match with Cadiz in the 34th round Examples.

The Belgian will play from the first minutes Thibaut Courtois. The main goalkeeper of the Blancos, who recently recovered from another injury, will play his debut match this season.

Note that Madrid also has another goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, in reserve. Earlier it was reported that head coach Carlo Ancelotti plans to let Courtois and Kepa play one half each in the match with Cadiz.

This season, Lunin won the fight against Kepa Arrizabalaga for a place in Real Madrid’s starting lineup. The Ukrainian played 29 matches for Blancos in all tournaments, missed 27 goals and kept 12 clean sheets. The Spaniard played 19 matches for the Blancos (eight clean sheets), conceding a total of 18 goals.
