The first section of the Safeguards Council following the hearing held today under the chairmanship of Prof. adv. Vito Branca rejected the appeal filed by the football club Taranto 1927 Srl against the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), as well as against the FIFA Federal Prosecutor’s Office, with a notification also sent to the General Sports Prosecutor’s Office CONI regarding the request for annulment and/or modification in accordance with the articles. 54 and 62 CONI CGS, subject to preventive suspension in accordance with Art. 57, paragraph 2, letter. d), the same Code, decisions of the Federal Court of Appeal of the FIG no. 0109/CFA/2023-2024, filed with reasons on 23 April 2024 and served on the present applicant on the same day, dismissing the appeal filed by the aforesaid applicant against the decision of the Disciplinary Section of the National Federal Court, no. 0177/TFN-SD-2023-2024 of March 18, 2024, by which Taranto FC 1927 Srl was sanctioned with a fine of 4 points in the ranking, which must be served in the current sports season.
