A Belgian championship footballer was hospitalized after being hit in the head by a ball.

Football player from Molenbeek Geoff Ren-Adeled during the Belgian championship match against Charleroi, he lost consciousness, reports L’Equipe.

In one of the episodes, after a strong blow, the ball hit the midfielder in the face. The 26-year-old French midfielder lost consciousness and was carried away on a stretcher.

Ren-Adeled was unconscious for about 10 minutes and was rushed to hospital. Molenbeek coach Yannick Ferreira feared a “brain hemorrhage” in the footballer, but the pessimistic forecasts were not confirmed. Ren-Adeled has regained consciousness and is in stable condition in hospital.
