The club has won 34 trophies under its current head
The president Real Madrid’s Florentino Perez became the most titled functionary in the history of the club.
Blancos won 34 different trophies during Perez’s leadership. In this indicator, Florentino surpassed another legendary leader – Santiago Bernabeu, with whom the Madrid team won 33 trophies.
Perez became the first president of Real Madrid in 2000, resigned in 2006, but returned in 2009. Blancos under Florentino won seven Spanish titles, six Champions League titles, seven Spanish Super Cups, three Copa del Rey, five UEFA Super Cups, five Club World Cups and one Intercontinental Cup.
The Madrid team won another trophy, becoming champions of Spain ahead of schedule. The Royal Club strengthened its record by becoming La Liga winners for the 36th time.
Blancos are also aiming for another Champions League title. In the second semi-final of the European Cup, Real will meet Bayern on May 8.
