Representatives of the Munich club contacted the coach’s agent
Munich Bavaria included a mentor Manchester United Erika ten Hag on the list of possible successors to Thomas Tuchel.
The Bundesliga club’s management has contacted ten Hag’s agent Kees Vos. There are no official talks between the parties, but the coach has been informed of Bayern’s interest.
Bayern continues to actively search for a new head coach to replace Tuchel, who will leave the club at the end of the season. Munich are already in talks with several mentors, including Hans-Dieter Flick, Julian Nagelsmann and Roberto De Zerbi. Zinedine Zidane was called one of the favorites for the position.
A new figure on this list is Benfica coach Roger Schmidt. Ralf Rangnick recently turned down the opportunity to lead the Munich team. In addition, Jose Mourinho is counting on working in Munich.
Bayern lost the Bundesliga title to Bayern this season. However, Tuchel’s team made it to the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they already played the first match (2:2) with Real Madrid against Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrei Lunin.
