The Green-White coach became the champion of Portugal
Mentor Sporting Ruben Amorim stated that he does not intend to leave the club at the end of the season.

Ruben has been heading the Lisbon club since 2020. Sporting under his leadership became twice champions and won the Portuguese Cup twice. This season, the Green-Whites overtook Benfica and secured their 20th league title in history ahead of schedule.
Amorim was the main candidate for the post of head coach of Liverpool, and Milan was also interested in his services. At the same time, the specialist’s contract with Sporting, which runs until the end of June 2026, contains a clause of 20 million euros,
The season for Amorim’s team will end with matches against Estoril and Chaves. On May 26, Sporting will play Porto in the final match of the Portuguese Cup.
