The total amount of seven fines amounted to 215 thousand hryvnia
Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association awarded to some clubs Ukrainian Premier League monetary fines based on matches held between April 18-27.
The largest penalties were received by Chernomorets and SK Dnepr-1. The sailors are required to pay 50 thousand hryvnia for “rude, incorrect statements by club officials towards the referees” of the 25th round home match against Krivbass (1:2).
In turn, Dnepr-1 was punished for the same amount for failure to comply with the requirements of Additional security measures for the organization and holding of football matches in Ukraine under martial law during the match against Dynamo on April 27.
Dynamo will also pay a mandatory cash contribution of 35,000 hryvnia for similar violations at the same match.
Shakhtar was fined twice for various episodes: ten thousand for the failure of the coach and the person responsible for the actions of young football players during the match to attend the pre-match meeting before the match with Zorya on April 22; and also 20 thousand – for the failure of the head of the team’s security service to attend a meeting before the match with LNZ on April 27.
LNZ received a penalty of 25 thousand for “displaying a banner and other discriminatory media” at the mentioned match.
Zarya also did not escape a fine. The club suffered the same 25 thousand due to “rude and unlawful” actions of fans during another match against the Pitmen, which took place on April 18.
Currently, 27 rounds have been played in the UPL (except for one match). Shakhtar is in the lead, four points ahead of Dynamo. On May 11, the leaders will have a head-to-head battle.
