The coach is confident in his players
Mentor PSG Luis Enrique at the pre-match conference on the eve of the return semi-final of the Champions League with Borussia D, he focused on the mentality of the players.
“The goal is to reach the final and to do that we have to be better than a great team like Dortmund. There is always room to grow, and we are working on it. Two goals can be scored in three seconds, but we can also concede two goals in that time.”
“The fans’ role will be as important as it has been all season and I have no doubt they will support us fully. The atmosphere in Dortmund was incredible and we expect the same at the Parc des Princes, hoping that at the end we can all celebrate together.”
“On va a gagner is the only phrase I know in French: we will win. A coach is a leader and must instill confidence in his players. I work every day to try to achieve this. The idea is to play the same way as in the first match and we are not going to change our mentality at all.”
The Bumblebees achieved a minimal victory over the Parisians thanks to a goal from Niklas Füllkrug. The return match between PSG and Borussia will take place in France on May 7. The meeting will be officiated by Italian Daniele Orsato.
