UEFA has named referee teams for the two Europa League semi-finals which will feature Italian representatives Atalanta and Roma on Thursday. For Dea’s match against Marseille (again we start with a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Velodrome), Spaniard Gil Manzano was selected, assisted by his compatriots Barbero and Nevado, as well as Martinez Munuera and Hernandez on VAR. The fourth referee is Ukrainian Balakin. Dutchman Makkelie (pictured) was selected as Roma’s bid for a comeback from Bayer Leverkusen after a 0-2 draw in the first 90 minutes. With him is the Dutch national team: two linesmen – Steegstra and De Vries, the fourth referee – Gozubuyuk, and in VAR – Dieperink with the help of Van Boekel.
