Yarmolenko: When I feel that there is no desire, no health, then I will end my career

Andrey missed part of the season due to a knee injury

Winger of the capital Dynamo Andrey Yarmolenko denied information about a possible end to his playing career.

“I don’t have such plans yet. I don’t know where fans and journalists get such information. When I feel that there is no desire, no health, then I will finish.”

“I’m not thinking about it yet. Today I enjoy every game, every training session. I wake up and look forward to training every day, just like I did in my 20s.”

Let us remember that Yarmolenko played for Dynamo from 2006 to 2017. During this time, the midfielder managed to play 341 matches for the Kiev team in all tournaments, in which he scored 137 goals.

In August 2017, Yarmolenko moved to Borussia Dortmund. A year later he became a football player for West Ham, where he spent four seasons. After that, Andrey spent a season in Al Ain under the leadership of Sergei Rebrov.

Last summer, the midfielder returned to the capital club, concluding a two-year agreement. The footballer missed part of the current season due to a knee injury. Now he has 18 matches for Dynamo in all competitions, eight goals and four assists.

Dynamo is in second place in the UPL, four points behind Shakhtar. On May 11, Alexander Shovkovsky’s team will compete with the Miners at the Lviv Arena in the 28th round of the UPL.
