Athletistic / Football. Former defender of the Russian national team Alexei Berezutsky spoke about the conflict between the management and coach of Lokomotiv Moscow with Railway striker Artyom Dzyuba.
“Age does not affect Artyom as a whole. Has Dzyuba ever run? No, his strong qualities remain the same: heading, finishing, the ability to turn with the ball. But it is true that now he started moving a little less it seems to me that this is an unnecessary scandal,” Berezutsky said in a video on the YouTube channel. “It’s football, bro!”
Earlier, the media reported that Artyom Dzyuba refused the self-extension clause of his contract with Lokomotiv and that at the end of the 2023/2024 season he intends to leave the red team -green. Later, the 35-year-old Russian’s agent, Leonid Goldman, said that the railway workers had decided to “write off” his client and would not allow him to enter the field for the remaining matches of the campaign.
Artyom Dzyuba became a Lokomotiv player in February 2023. His contract with the capital club runs until June 30, 2024. The Transfermarkt portal estimates Dzyuba’s market value at 2.8 million euros. This season, Artyom has scored four goals and provided four assists in 26 matches.
