The next matches of the championship and the Brazilian Cup, in which the teams of the state of Rio Grande do Sul will participate, have been postponed until further notice due to flooding caused by heavy rains, according to the website of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).

It should be noted that all the home and away matches of the Rio Grande do Sul teams, scheduled until May 27, are postponed. Among others, Serie A matches involving Internacional, Juventude and Gremio are subject to postponement.

According to a letter from the local football federation, the state’s two largest stadiums were flooded.

According to the latest data, at least 95 people died due to the Rio Grande do Suu disaster.
