Andrey helped Dynamo defeat Kolos, and Veres won the “match of life” against Minai
Ukrainian Premier League named the best player and coach 27th round. Winger named best football player Dynamo Andrey Yarmolenko. The coach won the coaching category Veresa Oleg Shandruk.
Let us remind you that Dynamo won a crushing victory over Kolos (5:0) in the reporting round. The Kiev team scored all five goals after the break, and the second of them was scored by Andrey. Yarmolenko played the full match and said that he is not yet thinking about retiring.
Veres, in turn, won a strong-willed victory over Minai (3:1) in the duel between two fighters for survival. The Rivne team missed an early goal, bounced back before the break, and scored twice more in the second half. Thanks to this success, Shandruk was recognized as the best coach of the 27th round of the UPL according to the All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches.
Dynamo is in second place, four points behind Shakhtar. This coming Saturday, May 11, the championship leaders will meet in Lviv. The meeting starts at 18:00.
Veres, in turn, broke a four-match streak without a win. Also, the Rivne team rose from the zone of direct relegation to the First League to 14th place. In the next match, Shandruk’s team will play against Zorya on May 13.
