Goalie “Torch” Alexander Belenov who will be 38 years old in September, revealed the secret of his sporting longevity.
This season, the goalkeeper played 22 matches for the Voronezh club, keeping his goal intact in 8 matches.
– What’s the secret ? I’m not old yet. If we take field players, then, of course, they have to run a lot, a lot of strength training. I have a slightly different task. There’s no secret, I love football. You cannot live without football, even on vacation,” Belenov said, as quoted by RB Sport.
