The first season of the IFL North-West opened in St. Petersburg. The tournament will involve teams composed of players born in 2005-2006.
— You know that in 2019 the Youth Football League was launched, in 2021 we also organized interregional youth leagues, which, according to the plan, should resemble federal leagues and end with a youth championship. Today the North-West tournament started in St. Petersburg. Next year, this age group will play in all regions of our country. It is encouraging that St. Petersburg is a leading region in the development of football, including youth football.

— The number of teams should be the same as in the Youth Football League, but not all teams are ready to compete at a later age, because in many schools children of this age have already graduated degree, so not everyone was ready for the competition. I’m sure next year more schools will field their teams.
