Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk lost in the second round of the tournament WTA 1000 in the capital of Italy Rome.

Marta met with the former world number one Naomi Osaka from Japan. The fight lasted one hour and 14 minutes of pure time. Note that the meeting was interrupted for an hour and a half due to rain.

Marta started the match poorly, losing four games at the start, and was unable to save the first set. In the second game, Osaka again made a 4:1 breakthrough. Marta played one break immediately after the break due to rain, but was unable to build on her success further.
