The Ukrainian defeated Tena Lukas from Croatia in three sets
Ukrainian tennis player Anastasia Soboleva reached the quarterfinals of the tournament ITF W75 in Slovak Trnave.
Anastasia met with Tena Lukas from Croatia. The intense three-set match lasted almost two and a half hours.
In the first set, the Ukrainian lost with a score of 1:4, after which she won five games in a row. The second game was left to the Croatian tennis player.
In the deciding set, Soboleva took a 5:2 lead, but the Croatian managed to fight back. Anastasia pulled herself together and won the decisive ball in the match at the reception.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian made it into the main draw of the tournament in Trnava through qualification. In the first round, Anastasia beat the seventh seeded Irina Baru from Romania. In the quarterfinals, Soboleva will meet with the second racket of the tournament, Moyuka Uchijima from Japan.
