Ex-footballer CSKA Vyacheslav Daev expressed the opinion that the head coach “Baltic” Sergei Ignachevich in the future he may occupy a similar position in the Moscow team.
Ignashevich is 44 years old and played for CSKA as a defender from 2004 to 2018.
— Of course, Ignashevich can become the head coach of CSKA. He showed good results with Torpedo and brought Baltika to the RPL. Now the Kaliningraders are playing with dignity. I don’t see any problem in inviting him to the military camp. A lot depends on the management of the club. It happens that certain coaches are perceived by the club as persona non grata. Only this can prevent Ignashevich from becoming the head coach of CSKA,” Daev said according to RB Sport.
Baltika, with 26 points, ranks 15th in the Russian Championship standings.
