Midfielder “Chelsea » Cole Palmer recognized as the best football player in the Premier League in April, the Premier League press service reports.
Last month, Palmer made 6 English league appearances, scoring 8 goals and providing one assist. The 22-year-old scored a hat-trick against Manchester United (4:3) and also scored four goals in the match against Everton (6:0).
Also nominated for the Player of the Month award are Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Josko Guardiol (Manchester City), Kai Havertz (Arsenal), Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace) and Jordan Pickford (Everton).
Palmer became the first Chelsea player to win the award since Eden Hazard in September 2018.
Everton manager Sean Dyche has been named manager of the month for April.
