Douglas Costaof Fluminense, opened up about the team’s evolution this season. Last Thursday, the 9th, Tricolor das Laranjeiras got the better of Colo-Colo 1-0, away from home, with a goal from Manuel. The result placed the current tournament champion at the top of Group A.
“We have been evolving game after game, trying to do everything we work for. We are already reaping good results from this, but of course positive results are always the most important thing. This is what we seek with our evolution. Things have been happening over time and I’m happy to be getting more minutes and being able to help the team”highlighted Douglas.
The athlete also spoke about his role in the Rio squad: “Of course, I still have a lot to add to the group, to the team. I’m still looking for the perfect adaptation, but I think that little by little I’m gaining more minutes, contributing and things are happening in the best way possible”.
